Draft About Me

I love people. I love spending time with them, painting them, drawing them. I work primarily as a portrait artist and create looser work alongside that.

My studio is as full of books as it is canvases. I think the canvas demands we bring our whole selves to it. This is hard when you are as much a thinker/writer as a visual artist.

In an attempt to reconcile this, I host gatherings for 'thoughtful creatives' who, like me, want to reflect on why we create...even why we are here...alongside their practice.

I studied portraiture at The Heatherley School of Fine Art (2010-12) and, since then, have taken on regular commissions. Please be in touch if you would like more information.
